Problem Solving and You!, Thursday, Period 3
The danger shop was set up to look like ye older tavern that your teachers might look more at home in, with a good number of NPC patrons milling about.
"Hail and well met, students!" Magnus said, picking up one of the chairs. Maybe to inspect the make of it.
Cara also picked up a chair, definitely not to examine the fine carpentry. "Normally this is where there'd be introductions." Because she'd been here for far too many first weeks by now. "But that's kind of boring."
Most people didn't react to boredom by flinging a chair into a packed crowd of very surly looking NPCs (including NPCakin, oh how we'd missed you and your terrible hair), Cara.
"Bar fight!" Magnus cheered, immediately changing his grip on the chair to use as a weapon. With bonuses because carpenter/fighter.
Aw yeah.
Cara might have pointed out that none of the class should've been surprised by this. Not even the newbies, the class description had not been subtle. But she'd flung herself after her chair by now.
Have fun kids.

Re: FIGHT! - PS [01]
This probably would have been a good opportunity to see if she could figure out more practical applications for her spells, but she had expected to be going over problem solving techniques, not — well, whatever this was, which she’d have known if she’d read the class description more thoroughly.
So no, she would not be punching things. Instead, there was a very large dog running around the tavern, trying to herd helpless-looking bystanders out of the way and maybe keeping some of aggressors off her classmates so they wouldn’t get too overwhelmed. See? Helping!
Re: FIGHT! - PS [01]
Unless that was weird. It was weird, right? BUT HE WANTED A PUPPER SO BAD, YOU GUYS.
Re: FIGHT! - PS [01]
. . . so no, not weird at all! Really!
Okay, maybe a little weird. Keyleth had just finished chasing off a couple of drunken NPC roughs when she spotted Magnus, and promptly sat down and tilted her head at him in the universal dog gesture for "Bwuh?"
Re: FIGHT! - PS [01]
"That's so cute," Magnus said, sitting down criss-cross applesauce to plant himself right in front of her. "Why can't Merle turn into a dog? It'd be so much better if he did."
And then he could CONTINUE to be a shitty cleric.
Re: FIGHT! - PS [01]
Keyleth had no idea who he was talking about, but she had to bark happily, because aww, compliments!
(She probably would try to hug a Bugbear if the situation ever came up.)
