"Cake would be great," she smiled. Her smile widened into a grin. "So, did you get Molly the Big O for her birthday like you were going to?" she teased, leaning in and waggling her eyebrows.

"Well, it's a date then! Me and you and cake!"

Blair blushed and ducked his head. "No, I didn't. Once I figured out what it was...and thanks for your demonstration by the way...I realized it wasn't the most appropriate present."

It was Ivanova's turn to blush as she remembered her little performance. "I shouldn't have done that, I'm sorry. And you might be a little too young yet for it to be really appropriate." She wasn't going to tell him how old she had been. That was actually a bit embarrassing. "Now for Tonks' birthday, on the other hand, that's what I should have gotten her." She grinned.

"Nah, it's okay. I opened myself up to some teasing by watching it in the common room." Blair said with a grin. "I...uh...guess that it would have been a good present for you to..uh...give to her."

No...his voice didn't get squeaky at all.

Ivanova laughed. "I'm sorry, Blair, it's just too easy to tease you sometimes. I'm a bad, bad woman. And I will never, ever mention what I did with my girlfriend last night. Or a few nights before that. Or on Valentine's . . ." She grinned wickedly.

She was so going to the special hell.

Blair's face got very red as he listened and he suddenly realized that breathing was necessary. Gulping air he smiled warily at Ivanova. "Thanks for that."

She buried her face in her hands, her shoulders shaking with almost-silent laughter.

"I am so, so sorry," she managed to gasp out. "Please forget everything I just said."

Blair grinned and winked at her. "What? Oh! Ivanova...it's you! I didn't see...or hear...you there!"

"Why, Blair!" Ivanova was giggling as she raised her head. "How lovely to see you again! What a surprise!"

"Total surprise! Why I'm shocked to see you here! However are you doing?" Blair laughed.

"Quite well! Besides the obvious surprise of meeting you in such an unlikely place! And how are you?"

Ivanova hadn't laughed so hard in a very long time.

"Of course I am obviously reeling from the shock of seeing you here, but I'm quite well too! How about that, both of us showing up here and both of us doing well. It's quite lucky, isn't it?"

"Quite lucky indeed! And if we continue in this manner I will surely be unable to speak because of laughter!" Ivanova snickered

"Me...too" Blair gasped out in between laughs and bent over a little, trying to catch his breath. He dug into his backpack and pulled out a ziploc bag. "Look! Cookies! Also surprising to see here and luckily enough, there's enough for both of us!"

"You're a treasure, Blair," Ivanova murmured, accepting a cookie while she caught her breath. "I'm definitely going to miss you."

"Don't miss me yet, Ivanova." He reached out to place a hand on hers.

She placed her other hand over his and squeezed slightly. "Tonks may be leaving soon, but I have go not long after. Graduation is almost upon us and you won't have me or my teasing to deal with any more."

"You mean I won't have you or your laughter anymore." He squeezed her hand back. "Graduation is coming up...but not today...and not tomorrow. So lets enjoy the time we have and not get melancholy about what's coming up."

She grinned. "Am I falling prey to the dreaded Emo? Is this what it's like? Am I going to start writing bad poetry and wearing all black? Although it does bring out my eyes . . . not as much as blue does, though."

He squinted at her carefully. "It's possible. You do seem to be showing some of the symptoms and it's only a matter of time before you start playing the guitar and hanging out on the roof."

Blair looked down and held out his cookie. "Maybe you should eat two cookies. I think 'emo' is afraid of sugar and chocolate chips."

"Oh no, not a guitar," she smirked, "But I am rather fond of the roof. Has a great view. But I don't want to take your cookie. You might have a weakened immunity to emo, and that would be bad. An emo Blair? Reality might collapse in on itself."

Blair giggled and bit into his cookie. "For the sake of reality."

Ivanova took a bite of her own cookie, mumbling around a mouthful of crumbs, "Do you actually bake all these or do you just buy them by the barrel?"

"Ha! You'll never get me to revel my sources! Wild horses couldn't drag it out of me!'

She pulled out the big watery puppydog eyes and idly wondered if she could pick the information out of his mind. Which she would never do without his permission and might not even work because he most definitely wasn't Tonks.
