Japanese Blades, First Period, Friday [08/17].
It was the last week of the class, and Mitsutada had a wistful look on his face as he addressed the students.
"Thank you all again for taking part of this class," Mitsutada said with a warm smile. "I hope you have learned something, or at the very least enjoyed yourself. This week, we are talking about naginata, and there is really only one of my brothers who could possibly have joined us. Please welcome him as you have welcomed the others.
"Gahahahaha!" the tall man laughed by way of introduction. He smiled a wide, pointy-toothed grin, his short orange-red hair contrasting with his purple kimono. "I'm Iwatooshi! I'm the naginata that, together with Musashibou Benkei, won against 999 swords! It's impossible for an ordinary human to wield me! I was made by Sanjou Munechika, more famous for his swords, but he also made me!"
"Benkei defeated 999 samurai and took their swords, and then was finally beaten by Minamoto no Yoshitsune. He pledged his loyalty to the man then, and ably defended him until their dying day... though that's another story entirely."
Mitsutada smiled. "Was Benkei a samurai?" he asked, knowing the answer. He just wanted Iwatooshi to elaborate more for his students.
"Oh no! Benkei was a warrior monk, a yamabushi! I still practice his prayers every day, in fact. Though I'm not as faithful as our friend Kunihiro," Iwatooshi explained. "I suppose these kids don't know much about our history, eh?"
"They're learning more and more," Mitsutada said. "Any questions for our guest?"

Questions?
Iwatooshi will also give out hugs if asked.
Time for Practice!
"The trick is to put your weight into it," Iwatooshi said, hefting his own wooden naginata. He took a swing and struck one of the dummies, knocking it over completely. "Oops! A little too much into that one, gahahahaha!"
Re: Time for Practice!
This was not stopping her from swinging it at her practice dummy with a gusto, no.
"Just like that! Ha! Take that!"
... She was about as formidable here as she had been back in the woods, yes.
