Magical Theory 101 (Monday, 03/27/2006, 5th Period)

"Okay, guys, I've been noticing the occasional absence--not so occasional, from some of you, guys--so we're going to have a review period covering all prior class subjects. So, ask any questions you've got. If you're worried about absences or want extra credit, please see me after class."


OOC: My focus today has to be on RL and getting two days' worth of work made up while not falling behind on today's work, so slowplay is the order here. But I'll be around, during my lunch break, if nothing else. Also, wait for the OCD threads! OCD is up.

Sakura made a face. After a bit of thought, she raised her hand. "Ms Calendar," she said cautiously. "Erm," She made a face. "I was... absent all of last week." Duh, Sakura. She was a teacher, she took roll. You weren't on the list. She knows you were absent. She made another face. "...but you knew that. I haven't really got an excuse for my absence," Again. "...but I was out of the country, so I suppose that sort of suffices." This is what happens when one goes home over Spring Break. One forgets the length of their vacation from school and... overstays.

Get to the point, Sakura.

"...anyways, I was wondering if there was any way we could go over -- even if just briefly -- what was discussed last week."

Jenny nodded. "You know, you've missed a lot of classes lately, Sakura," said Jenny. "And you missed the last quiz too. Have you been able to borrow notes from anyone?"


OOC: I could have fun having Jenny give Sakura a hard time about this IC, since she's missed a lot of classes. Want me to go for it?

Sakura made a face. Yes, yes she had... but last week hadn't exactly been her fault. "Erm, yes I know..." Fidget. "...and, no." She didn't look at Jenny, and she turned a faint pink with embarrassment. "I only got back on Friday, and..." She frowned. "I'll do what I can, Ms. Calendar, I just... uh..." She absently realized that she was still in class, and was thusly making a fool of herself in front of classmates. This caused her face to turn crimson.

Jenny nodded. "And I think you owe me a make-up essay for your last set of excessive absences. Which, again, totally handwave if you want."

Sakura made a sort of flailing motion at Jenny's mention of this. "Oh!" she reached over into her bag and pulled out a folder. Flipping through it, she pulled out a few printed sheets of paper. "...I actually did that, even if it's extremely late." *cough* She did it, but I'm too lazy to actually tell you what exactly she did. >>; Does that count?
