The class had been instructed to bring their swim clothes along today, because it was going to be a field trip day. "Morning, everyone! Heat is stupid and today we're going to go to a water park," Kitty greeted them. "It's early enough that no one's around, though should you be more comfortable with an image inducer to blend in, come talk to me. You have free reign of the park, so do a couple rides, cool down, be careful on waterslides."

Astrid had never actually been to a water park before, so this was kind of exciting for her. Even if she did just spend most of her time in the Lazy River, thus basically making this class a repeat of last week.

Look, she checked out the wave pool and a few slides. But she just liked drifting around aimlessly the best. She felt it was a poetic metaphor for her life, especially lately.

A poetic metaphor that Ingrid Magnussen would have scoffed at, bemoaning again over how Astrid didn't seem to get even an ounce of her own talent.

Okay, so Peridot actually had no clue what a waterpark was, but that wasn't going to sto her from at least attempting to have some fun, here. Probably. Maybe?

She was completely at a loss, so if anyone needed her, she was going to be over here at one of the waterslides, just climbing up it, and then... going back down. And then climbing up again. And going back down?

That was how this worked, right?
