Swashbucklin', Thursday
A class in an actual classroom? Bollocks to that. Edward had liked how taking class by the Jackdaw had suited him last go-around, and so that was where he'd summoned the students. He wore an easy smile, just this edge of cocky, and his signature blue-and-whites.
"All right, lads and ladies and the rest of you lot," he called. "This semester, we're going to dispense with the niceties. When I first found myself on the high seas, I had barely any idea how to hold a cutlass, let alone fire a pistol. And it nearly killed me - until I could turn it against my foes. This is what we will learn in this class."
He crossed his arms.
"I've no idea what swashbucklin' means, but it sounded nice," he admitted, adding a grin to his repertoire. "But I believe it's time for introductions. I want you all to tell me your name, and a tale of besting one's foes in broad sunlight."
