Exploring Fun Times With Friends! (In Dungeons), Friday - 3rd Period

Instead of puppies, there was glitter today. Maybe there was a malfunction in the danger shop. Maybe your teachers had finally gone off the deep end. Maybe it was just a glittery, glittery sort of Friday.

Who knew?

"It's glitter day!" Magnus said, sporting a glitter beard. "We're making the best of a bad situation here, kids. Bear with us."

Cara, meanwhile, was doing her best to pretend the glitter wasn't there, it was going to take hours to get it all out. "We had intended the dungeon to be filled with slime monsters, but it seems the Danger Shop had other ideas," she said. "By the end you'll probably wish it was slime instead." Hours.

"Yeaeeeah. Slimes are pretty cool," Magnus agreed, sparkling and dropping glitter every time he moved. "Maybe we can make a glitter slime!"

Magnus, no.

"Magnus, no." And if anyone else in the class wanted to chime in on that idea, now was the time. "But your task today is to defeat the glitter."

Fools, no one could defeat the glitter.

But so you know...

From within the dungeon, something rumbled and a puff of glitter was expelled from the entrance.

And, really, Sidon would have no problem trying to defeat the glitter if that is indeed what must be done, but he was rather terribly confused and, after failing to come up with a reasonable answer on his own, simply felt compelled to postulate the question to the class as a whole.

"But how exactly does one defeat glitter??"

It seemed incredibly futile, like someone trying to defeat the rain or the steady march of inevitable time.

Looking like something straight out if a Ke$ha video, it was complete with: pit traps (filled with glitter), oozes (composed of glitter), and a glitter dragon at the very end.

It was so much glitter.
