Student Council Meeting (lunchtime)

Josh sat at the desk in his classroom, grinning to see the members of the Student Council again.

"Hey," he said. "Any rumors that might be floating around about how I skipped town so I didn't have to chaperone the trip to England are entirely true." He looked around. "Except not."

He kicked his feet up. "So what'd I miss?"

"I bought her a hat for our first date and I suspect she'll get a lot of them for her birthday." Blair shrugged. "She's really, really strong. I could buy her....something you get for really, really strong people."

"You could ask Pippi about what really, really strong people like," Pip said. "Oh, and this probably goes without saying. But take her out to dinner. Preferably include flowers at some point."

"Dinner?" Blair grabbed for his notebook. "Nobody mentioned dinner before! What if her party is at dinner time. Should I take her out to lunch? We could go to the cafeteria."

"If her party is at that time, take her out to dinner either the day before or the day after. Cafeteria won't cut it," Pip said. "Try one of the restaurants in town. How about Cafe Fina? No, I'm not just saying that because I also run it.. Maybe offer to pay for her because it's her birthday."

"Okay, okay." Blair grinned. "No lunch in the cafeteria. Anything else I need to know?"

Pippi gave it some thought. "Go for a walk and give her a kiss."

Blair nodded and underlined kiss in his notebook. "What's the walking for? Just exercise?"

"No." she answered, "The walk is so you can go somewhere private and romantic."
