Physical Education, Thursday - 2nd Period
Today the class came into the Danger Shop, which had been set up like an old-fashioned gym, complete with boxing ring and a wee tiny couple of teachers who absolutely had no business teaching any of you about physical fitness, frankly.
But they did have both moxie and gumption. Which were important.
"So, we've got this hilarious video of some guy dressed up like Captain America talking about concussions," Tony said, totally rocking a crop top and those coveralls from yesterday like he stepped out of an 80s movie. Because he may as well have.
Future him was crying at the fashion choices. Crying.
Steve, meanwhile, was rocking pants that probably fit him when he was his normal size, a button-up shirt, and suspenders. As one does when one is about to box, apparently. "Try not to stare too much at his silly outfit," Steve said, "because that's a little unkind. And after we learn about ducking, or something, we'll teach you about boxing!"
Which, at least according to Bucky, was 80 percent about ducking faster than that, Rogers, jeez.
"Don't punch Steve," Tony said, squinting at the class. It's all demonstration."
And Steve was like a small, angry bird who got hurt easily.
"You can try to punch me," Steve said, thrusting his chin out. "I bet most of you will miss!"
That...was real optimistic of you, Steve.
Tony sighed, sort of feeling what Rhodey probably felt about him. And shook his head at the class behind Steve. Do not hit the tiny teacher.
"Movie time!"
