Arts & Crafts, Tuesday First Period
There was only one teacher visible at the start of class today. The other teacher could be heard, moaning in pain somewhere behind the desk. And there was a massive basket full of Starburst wrappers. So conclusions could be drawn as to what happened there. Whether or not they were correct was a lil' dicey, though.
"We talked about teaching you guys how to macrame ahead of whatever's going on tomorrow, but then we realized, why do Skywalker's job for him?" Vanessa said. "So then we decided to do Star burst wrapper bracelets instead! The actual Starbursts, uh, did not make it to class." She glanced under the desk.
Well, the good news was he couldn't die.
"Worth it," came Wade's thready reply, a thumbs up popping up to be just visible for the students.
"Anyway!" Vanessa said cheerfully. "Here's how you do this." She proceeded to talk the students through the tutorial linked up there. "And then eventually you have a fun multi-colored bracelet! Or a single-colored bracelet if you shank your classmates to get all the orange wrappers. Did I forget anything?" she asked Wade under the desk.
"No, you're perfect, baby," he said, starting to make a lewd gesture to express his appreciation and love for her.
Aww. So sweet of him. "Anyway, yeah, get to work," Vanessa told the students.

Re: Make a Bracelet!
Would she have been more approving if they'd gotten to have the candy? Probably. But marginally.
Still, there she was, placidly weaving together bracelets, careful not to tear the wrappers, trying to at least be considerate of what colors she was putting together. It was dumb, sure, but it was something to do.
