She led them through the portal to a vast alien plain, and an area marked off in much the same way last week's sandpit was, only much more professional looking. Probably because Aphra hadn't done it. "Welcome to the Cosmantic Steppes, which is actually kind of a really cool and interesting place, but let's face it, you're here to dig around in the dirt, not listen to me talking about how weird it is the dirt's there to begin with."

Also no one was getting mugged.

"Stay out of the way while somebody who is a better shot than me takes care of the problem," Peridot replied.

Because at least she was honest.

Except maybe her Gem, but by that point it was more kidnapping than mugging.
