It was the last class of the semester and one might think it'd be an easy one. And it very well could be if you looked past how much the danger shop looked like a dungeon.

"This is our last time together," Magnus said sadly. "Not, like, death last but still."

"Only because we're not allowed to turn off the safeguards." Cara was probably joking. Probably.

"Yeah, that's part of it," Magnus agreed. "But today your prize is something beyond compare! A treasure so rich that you'll want for nothing more!"

There were some high pitched yipping and barking coming from in the dungeon. Which could be a hint.

Just a small one. Small and fluffy. "But first you have to survive the dungeon. And remember to fill in the survey at the end." Because apparently they needed the feedback. For reasons.

"We have a survey?" Look, he'd been working on those adorable dogs instead of that part of it.

No doubt everyone was deeply shocked by that division of labour. "Because of the thing." Magnus remembered the thing, right?

"Oh riiiiight. The thing." he did not, but he could 'yes and?' like a pro.

"The summer thing." They were so good at communicating, really.

Magnus nodded and looked super earnest, but was totally going with this. "Lets get dungeoneering!"

There were spooky skeletons and even a minotaur in there somewhere. But more importantly... there were puppies waiting to be rescued.

Rescue those puppies, folks.

Yeah, Summer could totally deal with a dungeon for puppies. She'd dealt with much more for far less.

Besides, fighting spooky skeletons was kind of fun, and she wasn't half-bad at it, either.

At the end there were CaprisSun and Cuties. Also a survey asking you to rate your service on a scale of one to ten. Only service was crossed out and 'dungeon' was written in.

...Summer may have liked the CapriSun and Cuties at the end more than she was willing to admit. And she rated it a 7, and if there was a spot for commentary, she wrote: It was okay, I guess.

Because she was helpful like that. And she was pretty sure at least one of the teachers wasn't even going to bother reading these anyway.

Who were there and possibly cuddling puppies.

Cara was not cuddling puppies. That did not stop the puppies from trying to cuddle her.

Her life was hard.

I keep trying to lay down and hitting the lump on my head. This is bullshit.
