Peridot had no clue what had gotten into the books today. They all seemed to be doing that... that thing? That one that the organics all seemed to do, where they covered themselves with soft things, placed padded textile puffs under their heads, and then just sort of shut themselves off for hours on end.
Sleeping. That was it. Which, as far as Peridot saw it, was such a waste of time. But she had to admit... it was sort of cute when the books did it, all pulling sheets of paper over themselves and laying themselves down in the children's section.
She decided to leave them be, today, and put a sign up stressing the important of quiet in the library while the books were napping.
