"If you have been paying attention to the calendar," Hannibal said as the students sat, "you will know that today is your final exam."
He sat in a comfortable chair at his station. "So, cook me something. The more of our lessons you use, the greater your score. If you have any questions, please ask."

Re: Cook your food!
Obviously, there was gelatin, duh. She'd probably make something like that, even if it hadn't been a bit of a focus in the class (something that she felt a little preeningly proud and grateful for). And since mentioning a potential jalapeƱo jello for Miss Hera with BDG was fresh in her mind, that's exactly where she was going with it, which would show off those knife skills she'd worked on, making sure they were nice and prettily cut when they were displayed inside.
Hmmm, what else? Obviously the centerpiece of the jello would be some of that gelatin art they did last week...she'd make it look like a cactus flower. Go for a whole Southwest thing. Ooh, and did they have cactus? She could grill a couple of those, use them as a base or plate...it was all about presentation. Right, so she was doing mini jello molds on top of grilled cactus, little cactus flower art in the middle, with the pretty jalapeƱos and maybe some red chilis for variety inside...
Anything else? There was that week with chocolate, of course she remember that, but she couldn't think of how to work that in, and there was the meat week...again, no, didn't really fit, and this was already way more effort than she would have put into any other class, so...
Yeah, that was good enough. She would just add a little sprinkle of shredded cheese and lettuce around the base of each one, little artful dollops of pico de gallo and guacamole she'd whipped up while waiting for the gelatin to set, and ta-da!
Disgusting! Which made her even more proud of it than she had any right to be.

"Ms Smith, I'm delighted to see you have come so far." He smiled. "Congratulations."

You might have to try a little harder to get her attention away from Instagramming her...eclectic contribution.
