The class would be meeting in the Danger Shop that morning, though the Danger Shop looked quite a bit like a clearing in the preserve. And while the setting was digitized and fake, the supplies that they would be working with that day were real. They were real green, too, three tables and two wheelbarrows just filled with green.

"Welcome back, kids," Amaya greeted them with a small wave. "Some of you, I'm sure, recognize some of the stuff on the tables behind me. Now, I'm not from around here, but I've got the unique privileged of learning all about the holidays here through my store and the things Apu orders for them. Problem is, Apu likes to order a lot." She gave a rueful glance toward the St. Patrick's Day party favors and decorations awaiting to be repurposed by their capable hands. "Luckily, I know a good way to take care of all the things we can't sell: you guys!

"Also, out of all the holidays here so far, I thought this St. Patrick's Day was a real interesting one. The story of a man driving out a load of troublesome snakes from an island sounds like the sort of story we'd have back where I came from, so I got to thinking...what if we had to drive snakes off this island? But for some reason, all we had to help us do it was a bunch of holiday junk from Turtle & Canary?"

Hey, outside of sharp and pointy things, Amaya didn't have a great wealth of creativity, so she was probably much prouder of this idea than she should be.

"So that's it! There's supplies to help you put together and take apart whatever you need to make a good snake-scarin' weapon. Let me know if you have any questions, and later on in the class, we'll see how they work."

There isn't much of one, as usual, but you might learn something you didn't know about St. Patrick's legend? Or about supply problems in retail businesses?

Jason was mostly just... picking goddamn Lucky Charms out of his hair. Still.

Stupid barrel.

Several tables and two wheel barrows just filled with all sorts of random St. Patrick's Day paraphenelia, the sort of stuff you'd get Party City. Shamrocks and green plastic cups and "Kiss Me I'm Irish" everywhere. All moddable to your heart's desire.

"Wait, what?" Yang asked aloud, looking confused as she stared at the green crap. "I mean, I get needing to deal with a King Taijitu, but regular snakes? They're fine. Harmless, unless you're a mouse or a toad."

Patch did not have deadly snakes besides the Taijitu, no.

"Well, if snakes are afraid of gross simplification and appropriation of culture, we're all set," Tip muttered.

She gathered together several handfuls of green beads with giant shamrocks on them, and pondered their usefulness as whips.

Of course, Amaya would have set up the Danger Shop just so they had a nice sylvan setting for their snake-scarin' weapons! There had to be actual snakes!

Once everyone seemed pretty good with their weapons, she announced that it was time to put them to the test, and out came the snakes.

Little snakes, sure, the common garden variety you'd find anywhere, but also big snakes. Really big snakes. The kind of really big snake you could strap a saddle on and ride because it was basically a legless dragon. And some snakes in between. Basically snakes of all sizes, slithering out from the trees into the clearing from all sides, ready to be scared away.

She'll be idly shifting through the junk herself, marveling in particular at the leprechaun headbands and leprechaun punch pens. She'd heard there were leprechauns in Daventry, but she'd never seen 'em, they kept to themselves if they existed at all, but there's no way this is what they looked like!

So the world doesn't end before my birfday.
