So, it was the last class of the semester and Tony was graciously--graciously--taking time out of his evil plans to come teach. It helped that he wasn't sleeping, so that freed up loads of time to plan stuff.

"Civics. It's mostly useless when it comes down to it," Tony said with dark circles under his eyes and a pretty manic grin on his face. "The strong holding power over the weak. Better to just burn the system to the ground and start again, am I right?"

Yeah, that... totally sounded like something he would say. Yeah.

"Like how today is the last class. The end of something and the beginning of something greater."

So, maybe the class should devote their time to figuring out where the, hopefully, more sane teacher was. Just a thought.

"Let's take the day to enjoy the ending of the semester," he said with that same fixed smile.

Summer wasn't sure what exactly had gotten into Mr. Stark, but she was certainly into it. "Yeah!" she said at the end, already restless and bouncy because why was she even there anyway? School was pointless, this place was lame, it all sucked. "Burn it all, it's all so dumb!"

...to be fair, that sounded like something she would have said even if she wasn't infected, if the right mood struck her...

Peridot... just kind of sat there, blinking.

This didn't seem right. She couldn't put a finger on why, really. It just didn't.
