"Work on your shorthand. I expect to see it on my desk on Tuesday," she said shortly before disappearing behind a newspaper.

"Possibly," John says. "Might be an infectious disease. Pink eye. I hope I didn't hug you too much yesterday."

John does some actual shorthand work on his notebook while talking.

John smiles sweetly, stands up, grabs his pencil and starts to sing...badly and loudly.

Do you know the way to San Jose?
I've been away so long. I may go wrong and lose my way.

I'm going back to find some peace of mind in San Jose.

Because, after yesterday, there's nowhere to go but up.

And they're kind of creepy out of trees.

Okay, this isn't so bad. He's got arms and legs and isn't a snake.

So, he totally jumps off his desk and to grasp onto anything he can.

Whether D'anna had shrieked like a little kid at the sight of John's new form was debatable. However, she definitely pulled her feet up into her chair and snatched her rucksack from the floor.

Molly squeaked as John ran into the wall. She thought about going to pick him up, but... on the one hand, poor fuzzy and possibly soft sloth!John. On the other, omg, creepy long arms and claws!

Since no one else had moved to do so, Molly slid out of her desk chair and hesitantly went over to sloth!John. "Please don't claw me John," she said as she reached out to touch him on the head to check for injuries.

John doesn't claw Molly because he likes Molly. He just blinks at her and makes a three toed sloth noise of pain.

John totally cuddles into Molly because his head hurts and he's tired and he was just trying to entertain people!
