"Work on your shorthand. I expect to see it on my desk on Tuesday," she said shortly before disappearing behind a newspaper.

D'anna looked up from her notes, which, really, weren't that interesting, and saw a familiar face that hadn't been there for yesterday's adventures in Snakeyness. "Hey Mollyball, what's up?"

Molly grinned widely at the nickname. "I came to see what John is going to get turned into today," she whispered. "I also have a question for him, but I don't want to interrupt the show."

"So the snake on a motherfrakking plane thing wasn't unusual?" D'anna raised an eyebrow and wondered just what sort of class she'd landed herself in. Keeping her voice low to match the whispering theme, "whacha gonna ask him?"

Molly shook her head. "He gets turned into something every class now, if what the radio says is true. I was here last Wednesday and she turned him into a pot-bellied pig," she told D'anna quietly. "I need to ask him when Aeryn's birthday is because she said he picked it for her. I also need to know when his is, for that matter." A sudden thought struck her. "When is yours, by the way? I'll need to know that too."

"Weird. I wonder what he did?" Perhaps D should have spent more time wondering 'how she did that?!' but this was Fandom and that was a silly question. Instead she just hoped to avoid the being-changed-into-other-things thing. "As far as I can figure my birthday falls on April third this year on the current Earth calender. How about you? And what's up, planning a party?"

"Oh, yours is coming up quick then," Molly said. "Nah, not planning a party. It just that, since I got here, I've only learned about one birthday early enough for me to go get a present. All of the others I've only learned about the day of the party or after their birthday is over." She shrugged. "Oh, and my birthday is next Monday," she added casually.

"I know how that feels. I only learnt about Krycek's because Jake made him call and tell me." D'anna grinned, "next Monday, huh kid? Are you a chocolate girl or what?"

Molly grinned back. "Chocolate is a pretty safe bet, yes. What about you? April third is very close. Are you one of those coffee types?"

"I usually only drink coffee when I've got a good reason. Early class, late night, to annoy Krycek, etc." D'anna winked. "Basically, so long as it wasn't formerly some kind of living animal, I'm there. How old are you going to be?"
