"So," Hannibal said. "I hope you have all enjoyed this semester's trips and have learned a bit about the varied foods that Earth has to offer."

There were a lot of seafood and stew. What could he say? There was a lot of water.

"For our last trip, we'll be ending in Paris. It's the home of much that is considered 'Western' cuisine, and a personal favorite of mine. We'll be going to Le Grand Véfour, at the Palais Royal. This restaurant has been in existence for centuries, and has quite a lovely menu, as well as a wonderful view and a glimpse into late eighteenth-century decor."

He led them through the portal, which let them out just in front. "Please, enjoy."

Summer had a great way of showing her appreciation. How she managed to secret ot away with her was anyone's guess, but she had a covered glass dish with her, which she eventually presented to Hannibal.

"Dr. Lecter, for the end of the semester, I wanted to bring you a small culinary token of gratitude for your excellent class."

And in that dish, he wouls find a jello mold...orange jello, with bits of what could only be shark meat inside. She'd also put in cherries, and marbled it a little with ribbons of whipped cream. It was garnished, of course,because she had to make it fancy, with candied orange slices and a few sprigs of mint.

She was going more for form than flavor.

And that form had Hannibal raising an eyebrow at her. "It certainly is quite colorful," he said. "This is your present to all of your teachers, is it?"

He listened to radio, Summer.

Summer gasped, hand to her chest as if offended. "Not at all," she said. "Only the ones where it means something. Mr. Deadpool didn't get one. Ms. Karla didn't get one. Mr. Stark only got some because Captain Rogers is such a Boy Scout and had to share." Had to, Summer? Or just desperately wanted to get rid of it faster? "So only you, Captain Rogers, and Mr. Jarrus," God, it felt weird as hell calling him that, "are getting them, because you are the ones who have truly made jello special in my life. I mean, Mr. Jarrus isn't even one of my teachers."

Unless you counted in the High School of Life.

Hannibal chuckled. "Well, in that case, I am honored." He gave her a little bow.

He was, too. He had no intention of eating the thing, but he was honored.
