...where the hell did you take them, Anakin.

...after discovering there is nothing in Belle Fourche, you take motorcycles (in the spirit of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally) and head south towards Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial.

If you choose Rushmore, you must rock climb up the mountain carved into the faces of four American presidents and place signs on the top of their heads correctly identifying each one. Then you must rappel down again. Cough. Without getting caught by the Park Service. Anakin hadn't exactly gotten permits.

If you choose Crazy Horse, you must learn how to correctly perform either a Male Fancy Dance or a Fancy Shawl Dance from one of the Oglala Lakota artists in residence. They are not easy.

Welcome to Wall Drug, one of the ~~tackiest~~ renowned tourist stops in America! Upon arrival, you are handed a scavenger hunt map, where you must traverse the gigantic drug store/tourist trap and:

1) Ride the giant plastic jackalope and then take 10 tourists' picture with it;
2) Drink the famous free water;
3) Help fry a dozen donuts;
4) Purchase what you believe to be the tackiest offering under ten dollars.

Pinkie Pie

Oh, Pinkie was on this. Dances were a certified party activity, and Pinkie excelled at anything party related. Plus, she had energy to spare, so all the jumping and kicking? Total breeze.

Getting there without accidentally running into anything on the motorcycle was slightly trickier, but she managed it in a minimum of pieces. . . .

Pinkie got a little bit distracted taking pictures with the jackalope. She may have ended up with several dozen photos with it. As for her tacky kitsch. . . .

Well, Anakin might want to wonder where she was going to put five different "Where the HECK is Wall Drug?" bumper stickers she'd purchased.

Pinkie showed off four "Where the HECK is Wall Drug?" bumper stickers.

The fifth was . . . somewhere. Possibly in an embarrassing spot on Anakin's vehicle or person. Or maybe not. I mean, it wasn't like a small pink girl could sneak up and plaster a bumper sticker on the back of a renown jedi, was it?

Merrill

Honestly, that Merrill did an almost halfway decent job pulling off the dance was an accident more than anything. She hadn't exactly been paying a whole lot of attention.

The same could be said of her motorcycle trip over. Which would have been massively shudder-inducing to anyone looking on, and how she'd managed not to crash despite her number of close calls would be a mystery for the ages.

Merrill fell off the jackalope, because of course she did, but what really tripped her up was trying to figure out ten different tourists' cameras and how they worked. (Suffice to say it took her a while to get to 10, because several people gave up and asked someone else to take their picture instead.)

And whoops, was that souvenir purchase supposed to be tacky? Because the prairie dog plush was so cute, she couldn't help it.

Merrill was just cuddling the prairie dog plush by the time she showed up. Coming in close to last didn't even bother her any more by now.

Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka was pretty good at climbing and sneaking if she did say so herself. Though she did have to get her comm out to look up which president was which.

Ahsoka took a long time in the gift shop. A looooooooooong time.

Ahsoka tossed Anakin a small tub of moustache wax. Because of course she did.

Jason Lee Scott

... Yeah Jason didn't rock climb or rappel so much as jump, but. He did it without being seen, so? Whatever. it worked.

This... wasn't the worst? He managed to finish the challenges fairly quickly, and made a mental note to pop back to the tourist shop after and pick up some crappy gifts for his teammates back in Angel Grove. Because he loved them.

Hopefully Anakin enjoyed the brass ornament extolling the amazing things to see in... Wisconsin?

What? Nowhere in the rules did it say the purchase had to be South-Dakota-themed.

Jyn Erso

Jyn was good at being sneaky, so she went with Rushmore. Except that it was in the middle of summer and there were lots of tourist looking at the mountain. Still, she did OK until she had to run from the park rangers. Fortunately she was good at evading capture, too.

Jyn had seen a lot of tacky places in her life, but this one was up there.

But she enjoyed eating some of the donuts she helped fry up.

"This tacky enough?" Jyn said, holding out her purchase.

She was wondering how she was going to bring up "Oh, by the way, do you have any thoughts on where I could find an Imperial kyber refinery planet? No reason." in conversation.
