Woodworking (and Vehicle Proficiency), Thursday - 1st Period

This week there was more wood at the front of the class along with saws and wood glue. Because Magnus was switching it up. Keeping you kids on your toes.

"Alright, your ducks are coming along... nicely?" He was indeed rolling a deception check on that. "So we'll start a new project! A bird house. Or maybe a squirrel house. I can't make that choice for you."

Plus, the squirrels were pretty adorable in his estimation.

"Now, I don't expect you to get this done today, so don't rush. Take your time and be careful."

He was super sure he'd get fired if someone lost a finger on his watch.

Unable to help herself, Summer was humming a little song as she worked on her birdhouse. Or, rather, squirrel house. Squirrel bar. She took to the idea fondly, and thought of creating a little dive spot for the radio squirrels to pick up little squirrel beers and cocktails. Not that she supported squirrel alcoholism, but, at the same time, you just went with what you knew would be popular.

Peridot had no idea what the point of building a house for the birds or the squirrels was. As far as she could tell, birds built their own homes, and why would anybody want squirrels as neighbors?

So she was going to leave the front off of the... house... whatever it was made for. And then she was going to park her duck project inside.

"Duckhouse," she said decisively. "Perfect."

Ducks didn't... no, you know what, nevermind, 'Dot.
