The Tick was at the front of the room as always. Lockheed was givig hopeful glances to Cameron from his normal book shelf.

"Hello, students! Today you will be starting on your big project for the semester. It's actually pretty simple. I'll split you into groups of two. Each group will figure out a theory - any theory - about how Justice works. Take Parker's Darwinist view of Justice, for example (well, don't take it, it's hers). Once you have a theory worked out, you'll be using any of these ~~cartoons~~ documentaries on my desk to showcase the theory."

"Pending Professor Mac's approval ~~which I totally forgot to get beforehand, oops~~, I'd like to use the Danger Shop to showcase these theories at life size and see if they hold true. Your theories and how they apply to the documentaries are due two weeks from today."

"This project is all about teaming up with someone and compromising on your views of Justice, so get into your groups and get to talking!"

"This weeks metaphor is lightbulbs. And this week's extra credit is to devise a battlecry for your project partner!"

"If he can make it through his classes today without exhausting himself," said Janet. "Then tomorrow night." She grinned. "Should I get a Do Not Disturb sign ready for you two?"

Callisto did not look like she was about to hug Janet, or like she was willing to follow Angel around with a mallet just in case he tried to overdo anything. Really. "~~Yes.~~ I don't really think that would be nessecary."

"But it would be funny," said Janet, who wouldn't have minded the hug, and would probably have also stalked Callisto with a camera if she'd followed Angel around with a mallet. "So, Justice? Do you have any theories?"

OOC: Must sleep now. Continue this scene, or have Cal and Janet meet outside of class to come up with a theory?

"It's a fallacy cooked up by people to justify their actions to themselves?" Callisto suggested.

"It certainly can be," said Janet. "Depending on the person. ~~And, if we're talking about my boyfriend, whether he's evil or insane at the time, both of which have happened with disturbing frequency.~~"

"For example, Bugs is often shown to be doing horrible, horrible things, often tot he point of overshadowing the orginal defense, and is still portrayed to be in the right, since he's bringing justice to a wrong doer. ~~Hey, mine has a detachable soul, which is always fun.~~"

"Do we want to be pragmatic and realistic?" asked Janet. "Or idealistic instead. Because I could go either way, but I'd like to make sure we get a good grade. ~~Do you think we could start a school club for that?~~"

Callisto thought about it. "Well, I think that Professor Tick would prefer a more idealised veiw of justice, so we might try going for that. ~~What would we call it, 'Schtizoid SOs'?~~"

"Idealism in favor of a better grade it is, then," said Janet. "We need a theme, don't we? Or do we want to pick a ~~cartoon~~ documentary first? ~~It's concise and descriptive, so, yes.~~"

"I think going over the documentaries first would allow us to figure out a theme, rather than coming up with one then looking for evidence. ~~Any ideas who we could get to sponsor us?~~"
