The Tick was at the front of the room as always. Lockheed was givig hopeful glances to Cameron from his normal book shelf.

"Hello, students! Today you will be starting on your big project for the semester. It's actually pretty simple. I'll split you into groups of two. Each group will figure out a theory - any theory - about how Justice works. Take Parker's Darwinist view of Justice, for example (well, don't take it, it's hers). Once you have a theory worked out, you'll be using any of these ~~cartoons~~ documentaries on my desk to showcase the theory."

"Pending Professor Mac's approval ~~which I totally forgot to get beforehand, oops~~, I'd like to use the Danger Shop to showcase these theories at life size and see if they hold true. Your theories and how they apply to the documentaries are due two weeks from today."

"This project is all about teaming up with someone and compromising on your views of Justice, so get into your groups and get to talking!"

"This weeks metaphor is lightbulbs. And this week's extra credit is to devise a battlecry for your project partner!"

"Yo," Cameron said when he noticed Aeryn watching and tried not to squirm because now he was getting nervous.

She gestures to the suit.

He can get embarrassed or just go with it. "You like?"

"I have no complaints, but... Is there a reason?"

"Uh, Parker and I had a discussion about costumes and uniforms and I might have said that uniforms attract chi-girls. So she said she'd come up with a tasteful one and I'd have to wear it. I think," he frowns as he's not entirely sure how the whole thing came into being.

"You're wearing this to attract females?" she frowns.

"No, I'm wearing it because Parker made me." And Jaye kinda looked happy with it, but he doesn't say that out loud.

"It's better than gold pants," she admits, though she's beginning to think Parker has a problem.

"I'd say, but I did make her promise it had to be tasteful." There's another pause as he looks down at himself. "Does it look gay?"

"...What? Clothes don't have sexual preference."

"No, but they can make you look like you have one." He was pretty sure that made sense when he was thinking it.

"...Doesn't everyone have a preference no matter what they wear?"

"Yeah, but a guy who likes to wear pink is usually... not so straight." Cameron explains. "There's certain tastes in clothing that can sometimes tell you something about the person."

"And it matters... how?" says Aeryn, mostly out of curiosity. Because coming from a place where everyone dresses alike and preferences are kept behind closed doors, this is new.

"I'd rather not have ~~your boyfriend~~ a guy trying to come on to me?"

Aeryn shakes her head, still not getting the connection.

"Uh, it's a guy thing." Cameron says, because he's having a hard time thinking coming up with a reason why girls kissing would be bad.
