Woodworking (and Vehicle Proficiency), Thursday - 1st Period

A rather sheepish looking Magnus was at the front of class this week. And he's brought everyone (all three of you) a frappuccino. Because they were fucking amazing.

"Hi, guys. Sorry about missing last week. I sort of... got lost over in the city off the island? Way more confusing to get around than I expected it to be!" Understatement. "But I'm here now and you all had an extra week for your ducks! Let's see where we're at and then we can look into sanding them down and talk about finishes. Sound good?"

Please say yes. He was used to teaching in montage form, okay?

Peridot hadn't drank any of the sugar caffeine crack, and she still didn't know what a horse looked like, but by god the thing she was imagining had the most amazing eyes.

The most.

"That sounds amazing! How soon can we meet one??"

"Uhhhhh, I don't know," Summer admitted. "At least not the inorganic rock one. But I'm on the case, don't you worry, Peridot, I'll find one. In the meantime, all I can offer is regular size horses that are organic. There's a stable in town, I've walked by it a few times, so if you wanted to see regular horses, we could go there."

Peridot considered this proposition carefully for a moment, before giving one short, decisive nod of her head.

"For the time being, that will do," she settled on. "I look forward to seeing these... horses."

And their huge eyes.

And now Summer was just worried she'd built them up too much and Peridot would just be disappointed, but...they were horses, how could they possibly disappoint?

"Wanna go handwavily probably? after class? I have maybe? pole-dancing later, but I'm free in the afternoon. Or another day, whatever works."

It was okay, Summer. They were horses. They absolutely wouldn't disappoint.

They might intimidate slightly at their regular size, but they wouldn't disappoint.

"Yes," Peridot said, perking up a bit. "Yes, yes, yes! This afternoon and handwavily works great!"

Peridot was free most afternoons, really.
