For the first day of class, there was a nice selection of protein shakes or coffee for the students to grab before things started. Because they were starting on a high note. It was all down hill from here on out, kids.

"Hello, and welcome to Advanced Takeout," Tony said. "I'm Mr. Stark or Tony if you'd rather."

"And I'm Steve Rogers," Steve added. "Um, calling me Steve would be kind of strange. Welcome to Advanced Takeout. We know there are a couple other food-related classes this summer--this one is for people who can't cook."

Like them.

They only blew up one kitchen! On island. So far.

"Captain Rogers," Tony suggested to the class because Steve lacked the casual sweaters for 'Mr. Rogers' after all. "It's the first class, so things will be easy with letting us know your name and why you picked this class. You're in for a lot of this for the rest of the week. Sorry."

Steve grinned. "You can also tell us your biggest kitchen disaster. We blew up a microwave making apple pie a few months back."

Don't ask how. Just...don't.

"And I even have a doctorate in chemistry, so it can happen to anyone," Tony added cheerfully. Because it had been for science. Didn't you all feel better about yourselves?

"And after you're done with the introductions, you can try to make coffee or a protein shake," Steve said. Which, well, Tony's robot DUM-E had a hard time doing, so it can't be that easy, right?

Ready to cook! Maybe!

Your name, why you picked the class, and the worst kitchen disaster you've had.

The protein shake instructions are on the back of the stupidly large protein powder jug. This one alleged to be chocolate.

The chocolate is a lie. You can add it a couple spoonfuls to water and drink it that way (...not yummy) or you can get creative and add the powder to bananas, yogurt, and other frozen fruit options the teachers have laid out for you.

The coffee maker looks like it stepped out of a lab because it probably did. Add water to the bottom, grounds to the top and put it on the hot plate. Once the water has evaporated up into the grounds, take it off the heat, pour into a cup and enjoy!

If it hasn't exploded or something, of course.

One's drinking a protein shake, the other's got coffee. No points for guessing which one's which.

"I'm Ahsoka, and it's got to be better than rations." You were asked three questions, Ahsoka.

Coffee flavored protein powder existed and Tony judged it for existing. He judged it so much.

Ahsoka was in this class to avoid rations, she went for the coffee and the weird caf-maker.

Oh, boy, here we go.

"My name is Summer Smith," she started, "I didn't pick this class, and I know how to cook."

To be fair, she could kind of cook. She usually didn't have to, but she could make some mac and cheese and peanut butter and jelly if it came down to the wire. Maybe some spaghetti if she was feeling gourmet.

"And my biggest kitchen disaster was failing to convince my parents that pea soup green was a terrible color for the walls. But, whatever, it's their money, if they want to spend it on a gross kitchen."

"Hello, Ahsoka," Tony replied, trying not to laugh at that answer. "Rations?"

Summer had a little bit of a gag reflex when it came to protein shakes, thanks to that one time she and her grandpa buffed up to go beat up the devil and subsequently beat up Neo-Nazis and church protesters and other such scumbags, so she was really going to avoid that, even if her stomach was feeling more ready for food again.

Coffee was pretty easy, too, right? Until Summer picked up the coffee maker that looked more like it belonged in her grandpa's lab than in a kitchen. "Uhhhh...huh."

Give her a few minutes, she'll figure it out.

"How very seventies of them," Tony replied, tilting his head at that mental image. "Alright, maybe you can help your classmates out then."

Maybe keep the exploding to a minimum because the teachers clearly couldn't.

"Several years of the of the GAR's finest offerings," Ahsoka replied in an utterly unenthusiastic voice.

And she'd gotten to eat actual food more often than the 501st had.

Tony nodded slowly at that because... yeah. That was a thing then.

"Do you have any experience trying to cook for yourself?

"I know, right?" Summer made a face, but her disgust at the color pallet of her home faded quickly at the perspective of helping. Summer liked helping! "And, sure, I can help."

She didn't know how helpful she could be...she could boil water for them!, but she was going to try her darnest, that much she knew.

Boiling water would certainly help! Maybe. Possibly. It was pretty 50/50.

"And then learn all about Grub Hub with us."

"Oh, I know Grub Hub, too!"

You'll have to pardon Summer being excited. So much of her life had been a mess of things she didn't know that she was suddenly really excited to have something she knew, like, unquestionably. She did think it would be interesting to see the minds be blown by it, too.

"It was a complicated few years." Non-committal like a Kenobi.

"Alright, you'll just have an easy class then," Tony said with a smile. "Try not to fall asleep on us, okay?"

"Okay, I'll take that as a no," Tony decided. "Not a problem. You're doing better than your teachers on the kitchen disasters then. "

The mention of Grub Hub seemed to have magically manifested Summer's cell phone into hand. It was an addiction. It was her lifeforce. There was no escaping it, and she was scoping out the options on the island. The food reservoir was finally getting low in her system.

"Huh?" she moved her head, but not her eyes at first, as her finger scrolled. Then her eyes followed. "Oh, yeah, no, definitely not. Hey, do you know if this Chinese place has a good Schezuan sauce?

She had no idea why she was suddenly craving Schezuan sauce.

"Eh," Tony replied, thinking it over. "I've had better, but it's pretty good."

Mmmm, protein powder!

In Steve's defense, he grew up in the 1920s and 30s.
