BWI Airport Portalocity Lounge, Saturday Morning
All of Jughead's possessions fit inside a single backpack.
He didn't mind it. At least it was crammed as full as it could be crammed, that was good enough for him. And if he could keep people from figuring out that was the case, even better. This was supposed to be a break from –– everything. Riverdale and all associated drama.
Still, when he arrived in the lounge and checked his phone, he found himself wondering whether Archie even remembered he was moving today.
Whatever.
He dropped his backpack on the floor and leaned against the wall. Good. This seemed like a decent spot to stand in while eyeing everyone else warily.

Re: Wait for the Shuttle
He was also trying to understand the sword.
It seemed to be on fire.
"... I'm gonna go with 'no'," he decided. "I think this is just Baltimore."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
2. It was the Raging, Flaming, Poisoning Sword of Doom. That's sort of what it did.
"Are you absolutely sure about that?"
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
But he was not.
And it was the sword's fault.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
He looked at the kid, then at the sword before strapping that sucker to his back along with Railsplitter and his shield.
"Okay. Cool. Wrong foot there. My name is Magnus Burnsides."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Okay, that was a little dry. Possibly a lot.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
This was a part he hadn't been looking forward to with this move. At all.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"So what if it is?"
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Magnus was still struggling not to laugh. "I mean. If your family makes jugs, that makes sense."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
That last part wasn't sincere. He wasn't intending to honor any kind of a wish on Magnus's par when it came to this. He was stressed out enough as it was.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"I'd like to be left alone, now," he tried. In case that would end this interaction.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Goddammit.
"Look, I'm trying not to have this conversation, so..."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"Well, when you want to talk, I'm here."
Being earnest.
