Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2017, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]

Right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, the ceremony for graduation was ready to go. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, which reflected nicely off of the glitter scattered throughout the lawn.

Hey, if your glitter supplies never got low, you'd make everything sparkly as often as possible too.

There were chairs set up for all of the graduates, and plenty of seats for guests to come and watch. The weather was beautiful, cooling off after the hot, sunny day, and Fandom was firmly on the ground, unlike last year.

Congratulations, Class of 2017! Things might not be so great across the causeway, but at least the world didn't end before you could get here today!

Anders was smiling as he walked onto the stage, but someone looking very, very close might notice some moisture stinging at his eyes. Damn allergies.

Anders was far too classy to shout back at Dante, but a discreet using-your-middle-finger-to-scratch-under-your-chin maneuver never hurt anyone. Especially since Dante probably couldn't even see it.
