Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2017, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]
Right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, the ceremony for graduation was ready to go. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, which reflected nicely off of the glitter scattered throughout the lawn.
Hey, if your glitter supplies never got low, you'd make everything sparkly as often as possible too.
There were chairs set up for all of the graduates, and plenty of seats for guests to come and watch. The weather was beautiful, cooling off after the hot, sunny day, and Fandom was firmly on the ground, unlike last year.
Congratulations, Class of 2017! Things might not be so great across the causeway, but at least the world didn't end before you could get here today!

Yeah, he was totally getting punched later.

"Miller girls are strange, mysterious creatures," Chester deadpanned, "--especially Ada. Now sit down, before she comes out here and kills you for making a fuss."
Re: Welcome! [Grad 2017]
"He's supposed to be DEAD," she hissed in the world's least effective whisper.
"Awkward," Kronk agreed. "Especially after that eulogy you gave."
"Ya think?" she replied witheringly.
Re: Welcome! [Grad 2017]
He was still new enough to think he'd be able to help. Cute.

She was covered in glitter by the time she sat down; it was an odd contrast to her slightly forlorn expression.

And yet, still soaking up the vicarious graduation experience as much as she could.
