Jenny looked around the room, then got started on her lecture.

"All right, guys, we're going to get continue prepping for your final papers. What you're going to end up doing, eventually, is researching a couple of myths and writing about them. So. I've got a website loaded up. Pick out a second myth will either have to have similar or contrasting themes to the first one you chose last Thursday. Unfortunately, some of you weren't here then, so you'll need to pick out two of them.

Same warning as last time: You may have a personal belief system that rebels at calling one of these pantheons 'mythology.' However, we're treating the subject in a scholarly manner, which means that we're going to pretend that these are fiction, no matter what your personal belief system. Got it? Great!

I want you guys to tell me why you picked those particular myths and cultures, okay?"

OOC: Guys, you can handwave it, but this actually does lead into the final essay project, which I really am expecting people to do. So you might want to at least pick something out. :)

"I think that I might also compare it with the Electra myth, to compare the differing views of parental devotion. And also because I have a moth complex myself."

"Um, so I'll probably need another myth with a Seer in it."
