Victor grabbed some of everything, as usual, and bought some cherry-lemon-lime juice to go with it before finding a seat and waiting for Walter. He figured he'd run into his boyfriend at some point, and wanted to ask him how the play went.

Walter grabbed some of everything, as was his habit and smiled a little to see Victor up and about.

Of course, Victor was going to kill him, but at least his boyfriend was awake.

"Hey." He set his tray down across from Victor's and sat down. "How are you feeling?"

"Okay, I guess. I thought I was getting better at staying awake, but I guess I was wrong."

He sighed, then smiled at his boyfriend. "How was the play? I can't believe I slept through the whole thing."

"Really, really, really strange," Walter said, shaking his head. It was still hard to believe. "But I have it all recorded for you."

"The usual Fandom stuff? Figures. Did you borrow my camera for it?"

Walter nodded until his mouth wasn't full. "Mostly usual Fandom stuff. Most of the cast were possessed by fairies for the duration of the play. Just wait until you see the recording. It's amazing. And yeah, I borrowed your camera, since I couldn't get you to wake up to go."

"It's cool. As long as I know you have it, I'm okay with it. That's what boyfriends are for, right? We share stuff." He smiled and had some nechus ~~as the mun cackled~~.

Yeah, about that... ~~as the mun sniggers at the ellipses~~

Bite the bullet, get it over with, Victor would either understand or he wouldn't.

"I'll bring it by your room later." He drained his water glass and considered getting up for another.

No, enough stalling. Don't be a git.

"I need to tell you something you probably won't like."

"It's not broke, is it?" Victor asked, worried. After all, it was a very expensive camcorder.

Not the camcorder, and hopefully not Victor's brain after Walter told him.

"No, it's fine."

He grimaced and spilled everything in one very run-on sentence: "Nadia called me last night and I went to her room and she told me that she'd accidentally turned her boss Lucas into a tree and we talked about the play because she was possessed by a fairy and she said I was a good friend and went to kiss me on the cheek but I looked up at the wrong moment and she accidentally kissed me on the lips and I'm very sorry I promise I didn't like it."

Shit.

Victor's jaw dropped at the confession, and he almost spilled his drink. Then, despite himself, he started laughing.

Laughing? Laughing was good, right? Walter smiled hopefully at his boyfriend.

"You aren't angry?"

Victor's laughter trailed off, and he reached over the table to take Walter's hand "Look...when we were in London I realized that it's stupid of me to ever be jealous of anyone else. You're with me because you choose to be, and if you ever want to go you'll let me know. Yeah, I'm upset that it happened, but it was an accident, right?" He sighed and gave his boyfriend a goofy, lopsided smile. "I'm in love with you, Walter, and no one else can change that. And I know you love me, too. So I don't want to worry about it. Besides," he added, getting up and leaning across the table to touch his lips to Walter's "I'm the better kisser."

Walter put a hand on Victor's cheek to hold him there and kissed him back. In public. In the middle of the cafeteria. This was who he kissed because he wanted to, not anyone else.

"Yes, you definitely are." Particularly considering his reaction to Nadia's kissing him was Mmph! Shit! Which was definitely not his reaction to kissing Victor. Not even that first sort of drunken kiss they'd shared.

"Thank you."

The significance of the extended kiss was not lost on Victor, and it made him feel better. No, he didn't like other people kissing his boy, especially if that person was a girl, but what could he do, really? Walter's life was Walter's life, and it had just been an accident. If anything, this gave him some leverage for a free massage later.

"You're welcome," he replied, and grinned. He sat back down and continued his lunch, trying to hide the slight red tint to his cheeks.

"So, there's this really adorable guy I've been seeing, right, and he's really into Cole Porter, so I was thinking that I could ask him to come over tonight and watch this movie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0352277/) I ordered online. Y'know, the whole old-fashioned date thing. You think he'd go for it?"

"I think he'd be an idiot if he didn't," Walter said, grinning back and feeling much better. "Is he an idiot?"

"Probably not. After all, there is Cole Porter involved. Well, and me, of course, but that's just a minor detail."

"Anyone who would think you're a minor detail would have to be an idiot." Walter reached across the table to snag on of Victors nechus.

"I still need to help Nadia figure out what happened to Lucas. Do you want to come with me to the library after sixth period to see if we can find anything useful? I want to get in for at least a little while before it closes." ~~Which has absolutely nothing to do with giving Victor an excuse to meet Nightcrawler, oh no.~~

"Lucas...he owns Empire, right?
Yeah, sure, I'll go with you. I'll probably meet you there anyway, since I don't have any classes for the rest of the day." He didn't even bother asking what had happened. More often than not, it was just Fandom doing the usual.

~~I was just about to post in 5th period to give Vic and Kurt some time to mingle, actually. And the fact that we're on the same wavelength again? Not creepy at all.~~

"Then I'll see you there and afterward you can laugh at me while I read my plant a story. The new gardening teacher wants us to talk to our plants."

"Yeah, you told me about that. But what kind of story would a Violent like? Watch, it turns out to be "Baa Baa Black Sheep" or something ironic like that."

"I don't know. She suggested picture books. I'll find something, but you aren't allowed to take pictures or record my reading to a plant."

He nudged Victor's foot under the table. "Do you think you might be feeling well enough to go camping Wednesday night? Pippi and I were talking last night and we thought it would be fun. Not as nice ~~or as private~~ as your birthday, but something fun with friends."

"That sounds like fun, yeah. ~~I'll just have to let Pippi in on the plot.~~ Is it gonna be just you, me, and Pippi, or is anyone else coming?"

Walter tried not to wince. "Well, we talked about it before the thing with Nadia last night, so she was going to invite Nadia, and I was going to invite you, and whichever of us bumped into Pip first was going to invite him."

Victor scrunched up his nose a little. "Yeah, I think we better talk with Nadia and make sure that she's okay. It might kill her to see us together all night, and I want her to have fun, y'know, and not feel so weirded out."

[ooc: And off to gym! See ya in an hour and a half-ish!]

"I'm going to meet her in town after lunch to see if Lucas is still a tree. I wanted to talk to you before I saw her, just in case there problems. She's a friend, but boyfriends come first."

"The only problem I can see would be hers. I mean...she's gonna have to decide if she's okay with us being together. I think she still has a crush on you, and I don't think that can be fixed anytime soon, but I think she needs to learn how to control herself."

[ooc: Aaand back! I'm still waiting for Kurt-mun before I post in the library, though.]

Walter decided he was never going to mention to anyone what Nadia's fairy had done. Speaking of self-control. Ouch.

"She usually does. It's only magic that seems to throw her off usually, and last night really was an accident."

Victor chewed his food and nodded, declining to bring up the time Walter had become his girlfriend for a day. That was something that really didn't need to ever be brought up again.

"Okay, so library after school, then super-date tonigt, and...are we sleeping out in the woods on Wednesday or are we coming back here?"

"The plan was to camp out. I'm sure it won't be as nice as the last time we did that, but it'll be a different kind of fun. And super-date tonight sounds perfect."

Who says Mondays have to suck?

"Perfect."
