"Um..." Walter grasped at straws. "I have that burn on my back. You'd hurt me." She didn't know exactly how healed it was. It wasn't as though she'd seen him shirtless since the clinic...

Nadia would probably be setting the world record for pouting soon. This one? Was ginormous.

"You're no fun." She stomped her feet.

She even sniffled. Any minute now, she'd be into a full sized temper tantrum.

Okay, NOW Nadia was fighting the fairy influence, because bawling in front of Walter? Wasn't. Going. To happen.

Crisis of impending tantrum abruptly averted. Nadia grinned and grabbed Walter's hand, swinging it back and forth joyfully.

"We're having a tea party, lalalalala,
We're gonna have brownies, lalalalala!" she sang.

There were kids involved in this. There had to be some snacks somewhere, right? Walter looked around, noting Pippi. He'd visit with her next. First, though, to get Nadia distracted.

"Oh look, biscuits," he said, pointing to a plate of cookies. "Do you want some biscuits instead?" If they were lucky, neither of them would remember this tomorrow.

If Nadia did remember this tomorrow, she would pretend not to.

"Those aren't biscuits, those are cookies!"

But, yay, cookies! Nadia dropped Walter's hand and scurried over to stuff her face.
