After weeks of excruciating rehearsals, the school's production of, A Midsummer Night's Dream is finally being staged in the school auditorium.

"Good question," says Joel.

"So what's the answer?" GOB asked.

"You know, I don't think there is one," says Joel.

"So then what the hell are we talking about?" GOB asked.

"Who's on first."

"What?" GOB asked.

"No, I think What's on second?"

"Huh?"

"No, I don't think he's in this."

"You're a very strange person," GOB said.

Indeed, it does take one to know one.

"I know you are, but what am I?"

"You're a damn pothead," GOB said calmly.

"I'm rubber and you're glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you," says Joel, just as calmly.

"Did you ever actually get past the second grade, buddy?" GOB asked.

"And all the way up through high school, but I ended up working at a job with a jumpsuit, so." He shrugs.

"Why do you wear a jumpsuit when you run a movie theater?" GOB asked. "You can wear normal clothes, you know."

"It's a thing."

"You're a thing," GOB responded. No, it doesn't make any sense.

"That's so deep," Joel says.

"So's your face," GOB said.

Joel touches his own face. "Nope."

"Yep," GOB said, not bothering to touch the pothead's face.

"Nuh uh."

"Yuh huh."

"Nuh uh."
