The library was quiet today. The kind of quiet that happened on tv shows where all you could hear was that single cricket.
That cricket was driving Tip nuts.
"Swear to god," she told Bill as they tried to track it through the stacks. "If this turns out to be an etymology textbook, I'm going to quit."
