Rufus was quietly relieved to see that the library was perfectly, utterly, normal when he got there, Dark Nation at his heels.

He didn't seem to have any spectral visitors, which was really for the good of everyone.

There was only one dead person he could think who might visit him—alright, two, but he doubted his mother would bother—and it was nice to know that he wasn't being visited by the brother Rufus had ordered murdered.

That would have been vaguely… awkward.

I'm only sad I thought of the fact Rufus' murdered half-brother could visit after the app period for FoDs had already closed. Ah well.
