Hamlet grins.

"Thank you! I shall call myself Princess Aurora! What're we gonna do next?"

Without looking. Fairy!Pippi handed Pippi's celphone to Fairy!MacBeth and addressed Fairy!Hamlet.

"Your Highness." she gave a deep curtsey. "Say... You think I could have a chat with your prince? I've never met a prince before."

Fibber.

Fairy!Macbeth quite happily dialed the number for the local florist and ordered three large boquets of roses. Well, two medium, one large. After all, she was the star.

I hate you.

Aurora shrugged. " 'Kay!"

She released her control, leaving one rather angry Danish boy standing backstage in a kilt.

"I demand to be able to change back into my own clothing. I may have feigned madness before in the past, but always while wearing pants. And what are you spirits to be able to possess bodies with such abilities? Are you ghosts? Did my Father send you?"

He's so upset that he begins quietly soliloquizing under his breath as Shakespearean characters are prone to do.

Adella put a reassuring hand on Hamlet's arm and smiled at him.

"Now do calm yourself your Highness." she said sweetly. "We were not sent by anyone, much less your father. We are here because you do present this play which is ours. We do but make sport for this while and I do hope you will not forsake this garment." she said brushing the pleats of the kilt.

"For it would be quite a shame to deprive the world of such fine legs as yours."

Laying it on rather thick don't you think?

How many time's must I tell you to shush?

I haven't been paying attention to how many times you done so previously anyway.

In the back of his own head, Macbeth quietly wept for lack of a kilt.

In the foreground, Fairy Pirouette was flipping the cell phone closed and presenting it back to Adella.

Adella takes the celphone.

I better not be out of minutes now.

You don't HAVE a pre-pay plan.

Screw you.

Hamlet's still angry, but he lets Adella!Pippi leave her hand on his arm. He doesn't know what these creatures are capable of. He does however back up just a bit as she touches the kilt. He may be wearing underwear under there, but he's still uncomfortable with anyone going for his private bits. Aurora giggles at him from the back of his head.

"Your play? Then... you are all fairies? This playwright plagiarized actual events for his comedy? How did you all learn of this?"

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] sea-incarnadine.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
Somewhere around the same time, Pirouette decides that wearing emo!pants without underwear underneath is not comfortable. This is probably the first realization that she's come to all evening that she hasn't announced for the world to swoon over.

Well, it's your own damn fault.

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
"You are most observant Highness."

Adella is glad that Pirouette is silent for once, but does give a sideways glance to the rather unreadable expression on his/her face.

Is there something wrong with her?

You mean besides the obvious?

"Not exactly plagiarized per sae." she purred, leading Hamlet over to a set piece to sit down. "He was commissioned by a being of great power and influence in honor of us. As a reminder to us of our time here and as a reminder to this place of us... We do not always come when it is presented. And it has been some time since we've attended. This is a most auspicious occasion."

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

Hamlet sits where she leads him, still trying to take all this in. Accepting that ghosts could come back from made a little easier by his Father being his Father, but that fairies were real too was still a little much for him to grasp at once.

"I see. I never imagined that a mere playwright would be the subject of a commission by fairies. From what I read about him after being cast for this production, I assumed that he simply plagiarized literary works such as Appolonius or historical figures like Prince Amodhi of Jutland. I welcome you for coming then, although I must protest my annoyance at my hard work for this production being made a mockery of."

[OOC: Are you drawing from the Sandman comics' MSND plot for this?

"You can certainly take that up with Aurora. She is a child, but not an unreasonable one." she said sitting close to Hamlet as she explained.

"Isn't that right dear?"

Wow... You're terrible.

No kid. I'm good... Very good.

Good at being fake.

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] ihatedenmark.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
Aurora snaps back into control, much to Hamlet's dismay.

"Yep! All I really want is to feel like a pretty pretty princess!"

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] sea-incarnadine.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 07:17 am (UTC)(link)
It was about this moment that Pirouette decided to make her fashionable entrance again... this time with an armload of flowers.

"And a preety princess you shall be, vith zees boquet of roses, just for you!" She held one of the smaller boquets to Aurora, "And for you!" and the other smaller boquet to Adella."

That money was supposed to be so that I could eat, ye know.

Quiet, I'm basking in my flowers and popularity.

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, thank you... Pirouette." Fairy!Pippi said flatly.

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] ihatedenmark.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 07:50 am (UTC)(link)
"Aww, pretty roses! Thank you sooo much!"

Ophelia would have know what these mean in flower language.

Ooo, you have a girlfriend? Is she a princess?

I *had* a girlfriend, and no she wasn't. I drove her mad.

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] sea-incarnadine.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 07:57 am (UTC)(link)
"You are both most velcome!" Pirouette said with a curtsey.

A curtsey that made her eye twitch slightly because of the emo!pant, lack of underwear, different plumbing combo. But it was still a curtsey.

Meanwhile, Macbeth was beginning to wonder if Pirouette even knew what type of accent she was trying to fake anymore.

Eet ees not fake!

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 07:19 am (UTC)(link)
"Of course you do you obnoxious, insipid, darling child." She put her arm around Fairy!Hamlet and gave her a friendly (and gentle... must be careful in this body) squeeze. "And you understand that our sweet Prince here has worked so very hard on his part? Certainly you two can come to an agreement?

Because it's bad enough to snuggle my way through act five AS a little girl, I don't want to have to do it WITH a littler girl as well!

Snuggle?

Shut. Up!

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] ihatedenmark.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 07:47 am (UTC)(link)
Aurora, being a young child, gives Adella a friendly hug back.

"I'm using his lines. He learned his whole part real good, so I'm at least gonna say everything right!"

Re: BACKSTAGE: DURING PRODUCTION

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-03-19 07:50 am (UTC)(link)
Adella smiled with grinding teeth as she was jostled by Aurora's enthusiastic embrace.

"Lovely."

Meanwhile, inside her head...

Ya know, I feel bad for Hamlet but... Ha HA!
