The sets are up, the house lights are dimmed, and the play is ready to begin.



[Actual production will be SP'd here. There will be an audience post tomorrow night, so the audience can react to what's going on onstage then. Have fun, go nuts, guys. THERE ARE EVENTS PLANNED OKAY I LIED. Please just post Acts I-III for right now, as there is something planned to happen at the end of Act III. Please just check in on this post to check for a cue.]

Nadia had managed to find a set of blocks. Okay, maybe they were actually scraps of two by four left over from set building, but she said they were blocks, so they were blocks, dammit,

She was currently preoccupied making the tallest towering tall tower she could.

Then knocking it down.

Then building it again.

She could possibly keep this up all night.

Puck looked over at her and said sharply, "You, girl. What are you doing?"

Nadia was on tip toes to place the next block. She froze, her left hand trailing behind her, her right hand poised with a block, and turned her eyes to look at Puck.

"uuuuummmmmmmmmm, buildin' stuff?"

"Is she usually childlike? I don't think so, I don't know her very well. Damn. All right." Puck tapped the girl's forehead. "Who's in there?"

Nadia dropped back onto her heels and held the block behind her back with both hands. She turned her toes in and peered at her feet, swaying back and forth slightly.

"Bella, Mr. Puck, sir,"

Oh, dear. "Bella, do you know your lines, sweet? Or does your steed know her lines, rather?"

Nadia rolled her eyes. "Yes, Mr. Puck, sir. But th' lines are sooooooooo loooooooooooong and BOOOOOOOOOO-RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!"

She managed to stretch each word into at least three syllables.

"And you'll be getting no argument from me, but can you do the Puck a favor, Bella? I'll owe you later on," he added, knowing those words were going to cost him. Hopefully she'd cash in her favor for a tea party or something. "Will you go onstage when you have to and say your lines?"

Nadia gave a very melodramatic, long suffering sigh. "Ooooooookay. But I wanna big pink an' purple pony unicorn an' a teddy bear bigger 'n me an' sparkly finger painty crayons an' an itty bitty kitty in a moccassin an', an', an' youhavetoplaywiffmebackstage!"

This last request she said as fast as she possibly could. Because Puck probably would not want to fulfill it for her.

She was NOT going to mention that Miss Majesty Titania had already told her she had to be good and say her lines.

Nadia giggled happily and bounced up and down.

Inside, the real Nadia had given up all hope of ever having any self-respect again.

Of course, having not really ever gotten to be a three year old in her youth, she was also now thoroughly enjoying herself.
