MSND [slowplay]

The sets are up, the house lights are dimmed, and the play is ready to begin.

[Actual production will be SP'd here. There will be an audience post tomorrow night, so the audience can react to what's going on onstage then. Have fun, go nuts, guys. Chat room is: MSND, but I have school and won't be on until tonight or so. Outline. Please use the scripts you were emailed. Important: ~~DO NOT SKIP AHEAD IN THE PRODUCTION. THERE ARE EVENTS PLANNED~~ OKAY I LIED. Please just post Acts I-III for right now, as there is something planned to happen at the end of Act III. Please just check in on this post to check for a cue.]

Pippi puts on her costume and makeup.

She's not sure she looks much like an Amazon Queen... But she think she looks okay.

Blair walks by on his way to get ready. "Wow, Pippi! You look great!"

"Thanks Blair!" She grinned, completely destroying the Goth/Punk effect. (Everybody knows Goths never smile.)

"I'm not sure I'd like it as an everyday look, but I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. What are you wearing?"

Nadia finished getting into costume and make-up as well and stepped out of the dressing room. "Oo, yeah, Blair, where's your costume?"

Blair bounced back out of where he was getting dressed and looked at mirror by Pippi. "Well...this was not exactly how I imagined Lysander would look. The lip ring looks cool though."

The lip ring did, indeed, look VERY cool. As did the collar and the eye-liner . . . not that Nadia would ever say that outloud.

Possibly because she was pretty sure all she'd manage to do was squeak.

So she nodded and gave Blair a thumbs up, while telling herself to stop it, because Blair had picked Molly, and they were cute together, and she wasn't bitter.

Pippi takes in the sight of the tree of them together.

Pippi is speachless.

Blair grinned and bounced, giving Nadia a thumbs up back. "You look cool too! It's a good look for you, although I think you're prettier all normal."

And boys who had picked other girls should not be allowed to make flattering comments like that. Nadia blushed under her white make-up.

Blair tilted his head at her. "Are you getting hot? Do you need to sit down or something?" He waved his hand by her face, trying to cool her off.

"Fine!" Nadia squeaked. "I'm fine!"

Blair leaned closer. "Are you sure? You're all squeaky."

And suddenly it kind of was getting hot in here. And cold, at the same time. Nadia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Blair, you're a sweetheart and a very good friend but could you please back up?"

Blair nodded slowly and backed up several steps. "Is this okay? Or do you want me to go farther?"

Great. And now Blair probably thought she was a crazy woman. "No, that's fine. Thank you."

"Good. Feeling better?" Blair called out from where he stood, wondering if Nadia had devolped some sort of allergy to him.

If Nadia blushed any harder, she was going to pass out from lack of oxygen to her brain. She wasn't even that into Blair, he just always made her feel like she was being really silly . . . just by taking her so seriously. Which made zero sense.

"Yeah, I'm fine, really. I'm just . . . going to go get some water."

"Okay! Maybe you should rest or something too." Blair waved and headed off in another direction.

Oh no, that wasn't awkward at all.

Nadia relaxed, then started concentrating on her lines.

Allie shows up and starts doing her makeup.

"This is going to be weird," she says, to no one in particular.

"Yeah." said Pippi looking in the mirror.

"You look nice though."

"Thanks, so do you," Allie said.

"I'm really nervous."

"You are?" Pippi asked. "Why?"
