Khadgar had been having one of those mornings where everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. He'd woken up late after forgetting an alarm, burned himself in the common room kitchen, and then burned himself again fetching coffee from the Perk.

He was settled at the desk now and casting cooling spells to keep his hand from hurting; hopefully, the books wouldn't rise up against him, or anything else equally awful and impossible to deal with.
