History of Art / Studio Art Combined Studio | Mar 17, Periods 5&6

There are paints, markers, glitter, canvas drop-sheets, flats, and the like set out in the class-room.

"Afternoon, kids, Miss Gilmore *handwavey* asked me to help with set dressing for tomorrow night's play. And by me I mean you. Have fun."

Janet has stopped by, along with another excuse note for Angel. "Here you go, Professor."

Jaye signs in.

Hehehehehehe.

Jaye spends quite a bit of time outlining the words "JAZZ HANDS" in blue paint in laaaaaaaaaarge letters, then coloring them in with yellow paint.

And then throwing glitter on it in various places. Because GLITTER.

"Because I'm a nice person," said Janet. "And because he's too sick to drop off the notes."

Jaye picks a section of backdrop, takes some black paint, draws a stick figure (naked, except for a hat) waving at the audience, then adds more glitter.

Look, if it's up to her, they'll never get the damn glitter off the stage.

"Callisto?" Janet shook her head. "She's not psychopathic. A little intense, sure, but not nuts."

Janet glared at Autolycus. "I don't tend to believe rumors without having some firsthand knowledge. Do you actually know if any of these rumors are true?"

Angela tried to paint trees on her section of backdrop.

Too bad they come put more like lollypops.

Blobby lollypops.

"And my knowledge comes from knowing Callisto directly, rather than from a supposedly 'unimpeachable' source so biased." Janet frowned. "Yes, it's rather obvious that Callisto's got issues, but let's face it, who doesn't? And I've never once seen her lob a fireball."

Xander sighs, because clearly he's not going to get out of this play without having glitter permanently stuck in his clothes, hair, and probably every available crevice. So honestly he might as well give up and go with it.

He passes Jaye a couple of the glitter flags he made in Shop. These two say "Stickbug/Meerkat" and Mountie/pants "Quinn/Wal-Mart."

"Enemy pairings," he whispers. "For flying from the castle walls."

"And you're biased," said Janet. "Based on someone else's stories, rather than personal experience. Therefore, I don't feel the need to give your opinion on the matter a great deal of weight."
