"This was supposed to be a class about bingo," said a visibly portal-lagged Atton. "I give up. I'm never using the Danger Shop again."

The Danger Shop was not a bingo hall.

The Danger Shop was a giant ball pit.

Atton threw his hands up, wandered towards the sole chair in the corner, and collapsed in it.

So I found out the down side of the 6.30 shift is that if I miss a single hour of sleep at night, I am le ded.

Hyacinthe

Hyacinthe was up to his chin in balls. It was a good day.

Peridot

Peridot had no idea what the purpose of a ball pit was.

Heck, Peridot was possibly even too short for this one, considering once she got into it, she quickly found herself at the bottom. All of her that was visible was the very top point of her hair, like a yellow-green shark fin just peeking out from the balls.

Was this what fun was?

Ada Miller

Ada sat on the edge of the ball pit, letting her legs dangle down into it as she picked up a ball and turned it over in her hands.

"I don't get it. What is this for?"

Someone had never been upstairs in the dorms, or seen a ball pit before.
