"Yes, And:" Improv Theatre and You, Wednesday, Period One

Jono was in a surprisingly good mood for a man who had nearly been murdered by frogs yesterday. Probably because it took him some time to figure out why the hell they were trying to dangle cheeseburgers at him.

Swing and a miss there, frogs. Swing and a miss there.

//Good morning, class. I hope none of you were hurt, yesterday? And that you all made it through the weekend fairly unscathed?// Nobody seemed to be dead, anyway. Jono shrugged and continued on. //Today, we're going to be playing a game called 'Word at a time.' Or, rather, sentence at a time, mostly for the sake of simplicity.// And because it would be damn difficult to tell a story a word at a time in LJ's format, but it wasn't like Jono knew that. //Basically, we'll all be participating in this one. I'll kick off a story with a sentence. The next person to step in will build on that story with a sentence of their own, and the next will reply to them, and so on. The story will no doubt spiral out of control and become an incoherent mess, but really, that's half the fun of it.//

Feel free to let this one get messy, and don't worry about pinging order. Jono will kick this one off with the first sentence of a story. The next person to ping to him will build on that story. And the next person from there, and so on and so forth.

Jono nodded out at the class, and then he kicked the story off with, //It's a very little known fact that Hendrix the Frog would do anything for cheeseburgers.//

Ringo chewed on her lip for a couple of seconds, trying to figure out how she was supposed to continue something like that. Ultimately, she realized that she could just turn the question she had into a sort of sentence, and maybe that'd work?

"Um. You're probably wondering why Hendrix liked cheeseburgers so much since he was, you know, a frog."

Shiemi was here and totally wearing a cute frog themed kimono today!

...Just kidding!

It was her normal kimono with the small floral pattern. But she had found some toad lilies (http://cdn.brecks.com/images/500/81326.jpg) in the garden and brought a bunch along.
