Geology -- Second Lab

*The floor is repaired. Students are now required to sit with their partners. Roy and Edward are on opposite ends of the classroom. And yes, Ms. Sidle is reserving the right to shoot whoever does the next destructive within her class.*

Good afternoon. Those of you who did not show up on Monday are required to finish that lab as well as today's.

*She lectures on plate tectonics and geological formations before assigning the new lab, which consists of analyzing fault structures.*

Phoebe looks up from her notes and smiles a little tiredly.

"I thought maybe we could hang out or do something. Something that doesn't involve Gremlins or Dishwashers."

Buffy looks up from her notes and sees this exchange. Natural instinct makes her start to stand, but seeing the hard look in Ms. Sidle's eyes, she sits back down with a slight smile. Ovbiously, Ms. Sidle doesn't need defending.

"A teacher I can respect," she says to herself. She smiles and returns to her classwork.
