Student Council, Lunchtime

When lunchtime rolled around, Zoe got everything set up in the classroom, setting out pizzas, sodas, and different types of cookies (pumpkin season hadn't completely taken over yet, so there were plenty of normal options). After everyone arrived and got settled, she gave the students a genuine smile.

"Thank you all for coming to our first council meeting today. I'm glad to see some new faces among the familiar ones," she said. "For those of you who are new, the Student Council is in charge of most of the social events that happen at the school--Homecoming, Parents' Weekend--" The occasional glitter birthday party she pretended to not know about... "So it's good to see so many of you interested in helping out. Next week, I'd like to get together to talk about Parents' Weekend, but this week I just want you to have a chance to get to know one another if you don't already, and we have to pick a president from among the seniors." Considering her seniors, this was going to be a very interesting year.

Lucille had never tried pizza, and she looked at her slice for a while, wondering whether it should be eaten with her fingers or with a knife and fork. She decided the latter was less messy.

Negasonic's head was still hurting from Ada's birthday party last night. And she also had no idea how she ended up on student council.

So for the most party she was just going to drink water and try to figure out how to deal with this complication.

Roscoe was wearing sunglasses, a beanie and no makeup, and was dressed uncharacteristically plainly. His chin was not leaving his hand this entire meeting, because if it did, his head would spin and he might die.

Tip's brief stint as treasurer in middle school had definitely not included pizza and soda.

Eric grabbed a slice of pizza, sure, but honestly he was more interested in sampling all of the available cookies.

Frank skipped the pizza and went straight to the bar. Which was a desk with alcohol that he put on it and a glass that he also put on it.

Rey had no idea how she'd ended up here, and didn't actually know a lot of the people in the room. But it was at least worth sticking around to see what it was.
