Driver's Ed [Friday, 2nd Period]

Cara was not holding class in the Danger Shop. Nor was there anything even slightly resembling a car, or even pictures of a car in the classroom she was holding it in.

There was however a very cranky Mord'Sith who had the expression of someone who'd spent much of the previous night unsuccessfully trying to get their head around the concept of a hook turn (and who was as yet unaware that the likelihood of any of her class actually needing to know about them was low at best).

"Introductions," she said, not rubbing her temple even though she very much wanted to. "I'm going to give you the benefit of assuming none of you actually thought signing up was a good idea after reading that class description, so name, class, and if you have any experience with the subject."

"I am Thorin, a senior I believe." The names for grades were weird and confusing, okay? "And I have taken classes on this subject previously, though not of my own volition."

And had somehow always managed to blow up his car in an action movie fashion.

Well, that narrative was doing wonders for Cara's intention to have a Driver's Ed class without driving.

Honestly if Thorin managed to make the cars they were going to end up in in a few classes time explode that would be mildly impressive and deeply worrying.

Cara almost felt bad about telling Roscoe "No." but even she could see that was a terrible idea regardless of the actual experience involved.
