So, the heat meant that many of the tables and chairs had been set up in the shade, and someone had found outdoor table umbrellas in blue and gold, god help us all. But hey, a little heat never hurt anyone who wasn't a vampire, right?

Ahem. The picnic was open for warm, sunny business.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Mostly," Peter said. "I still don't have a lot of furniture, but apparently I have a flower shop now."

Which was still amusing and a bit weird.

"A flower shop?" It wasn't what Lucille had expected. "Well, I might need some flowers for my room."

What kind of flowers would Cassandra like?

"Come by whenever you like," Peter said. He gave her a crooked smile. "I don't know how good my arrangements are, but the one job I did so far was a wedding, and the grooms seemed to like them."

"The flowers were lovely, even if the wedding itself never happened. Poor Dr Lecter and Mr Starsmore. They are quite unlucky." Lucille felt truly sorry for them.

"Thanks. But -" Well, maybe Lucille didn't know about the attempted murder thing? It wasn't Peter's to talk about. "I hope they manage it," he finished.

Maybe he didn't know. Either way, Lucille preferred not to talk about it to someone she hardly knew.
