Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II
So, the heat meant that many of the tables and chairs had been set up in the shade, and someone had found outdoor table umbrellas in blue and gold, god help us all. But hey, a little heat never hurt anyone who wasn't a vampire, right?
Ahem. The picnic was open for warm, sunny business.
[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

RE: Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
It had been an informative afternoon.
"Is there more to worry about? Better learn now before my shock sets in."
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
He shifted on the bench, turning towards her. "So where are you from, Margaery?"
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
She was adjusting. There would be time for homesickness later.
"And yourself, prior to settling in here?"
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
He shrugged. It wasn't like he particularly missed the shithole, except for when he did.
"Is the Reach anything like this?"
RE: Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
She was sort of grasping the multiple dimensions thing. Slowly.
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
"Something like that," he agreed. "Born in America, totally American, it's just that nobody around here has heard about my chunk of America. It happens. The place is weird as fuck. But it's a great place to make friends."
It was a small miracle he wasn't saying that to Margaery's cleavage, honestly.
RE: Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
Several of those reasons had to do with the aforementioned shirtlessness and new friend-making, but she was open to other ideas as well.
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
He threw her an easy wink.
"It's quiet, but we know how to run a party."
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
It seemed more like a feast her father would throw for visiting vassal lords. Food and flattery, but lacking in dancing and drinking.
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
She seemed to be okay with it, so he wasn't going to make too much of an effort to stop.
"Last week we set up on the beach, played around, had a bunch of drinks." He shrugged idly. "I can drop you off an invitation next time we do something. I'm in room 322."
You know, if she wanted to stop by for whatever reason.
RE: Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
Assuming she could figure out a way to make trips back to see her brothers, that was. If she was truly stuck, she would buy a bottle of something local to share so that she might save her wines from the Seven Kingdoms for the nights she needed a taste of home.
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
As long as she wasn't secretly the obnoxious kind of rich girl. Dante was willing to give her
cleavagethe benefit of the doubt for now, though."Especially not if you're bringing fancy booze."
RE: Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
"My brother's parting gift was to stash a few bottles from our castle's cellar in my bag," she confided, grinning. "I won't promise fancy - but the upside of no one knowing my home is that none of you have sampled our goods, either. So it'll be new."
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2016]
Or, you know, her.
