So You Just Met Your Relative From The Future, Friday

"Most of our scenarios have been focused on our time spent here in Fandom," Ben began, "but eventually you'll have to go home again, and sometimes you'll want to bring along your friends. And their universes might not be even a little like your own."

"This, of course, might make a homecoming somewhat... awkward," Obi-Wan said delicately. "Who do you introduce to who? How? What... troubles might arise?"

"Or would you choose to skip it entirely and just never take anyone back with you?" Ben asked.

"Think wisely about the friends you have made, or may make," Obi-Wan said, "And consider your situation at home. Would it be wise?"

"I've taken friends back," Ben said, "even into a warzone, but I chose carefully. Master Kenobi, have you taken anyone back with you?"

"No," Obi-Wan said. "My... current situation does not allow for such things." He smiled faintly. "I believe most people I know would be bored."

Ben shot him an amused look. "Bored," he repeated.

"Not all of our lives can be terribly exciting all the time," Obi-Wan said. Innocently.

"I'm learning to enjoy the value of quiet, myself," Ben replied.

"As am I," Obi-Wan... lied.
