The Danger Shop was programmed into a huge warehouse today, stuffed full with computers, fabric, cars, and--babies? "Hey, y'all, an' welcome to your final," Hardison said. "The whole point of this class was to teach y'all a few skills to take away with you, an' so all you haveta do is prove that you learned one thing in here. Once you do that, you can either head out or enjoy the pizza party I got goin' on in the other room." The other room was programmed into the Danger Shop. The pizza was real and if anyone complained about pizza at 8am, well, that was on them. "So, real quick an' easy. Pick a skill, demonstrate you know how to do it, an' you're good--though it ain't gonna count if I'm pretty sure you came into the class knowin' how to do it already. Pick somethin' you actually learned, a'ight?"

Last class!

There's not a lecture to listen to today, so look around the Danger Shop and figure out what skill you want to demonstrate to pass.

Choose one (or more! Hardison isn't about to argue with that) task and show that you know how to complete it.

There were two types of hacking programs. Successfully hack both and you're good!

There was a mini glass blowing studio tucked away in the corner. Start a project and get it into the warmer to finish.

With bobby pins and the materials to make shims, Hardison expected the class to be able to pick open a padlock, a combination lock, and a doorknob. Of course, if any student who'd brought along the picks he'd given out during the class on lockpicking was free to use those instead.

Under a mound of fabric was a table of sewing supplies. Students could sew on a button and fix a tear in one of the items of clothing on the pile.

If somebody wanted to go up against a computer sim version of Eliot and successfully fend him off for five minutes, there was a place to do that, too. Also, if the student could take the simulated version down before the five minutes were up, even better!

An even better fight than the one with the Eliot!Sim! Grab a laser sword, demonstrate some fancy moves, and then fight off an enemy.

Age of the geek, baby.

There was a car in the middle of the warehouse. To pass, the students had to do two of three tasks: jump start the engine, change the tire, or hotwire it.

Ada, hotwiring the car doesn't count for you.

Scattered about the warehouse in various locations are several caches of items. There are maps of the warehouse available, as well as a list of coordinates. Find a cache and you were set!

Much like last week, there were several babies crying in cribs that needed to be cared for. Bathe, change, and feed a baby and that was it.

If you wanted to stick around, there was a room off of the main warehouse space filled with boxes of pizza. Help yourself!

Who was certainly not missing having his TA around, no not at all!

Ada Miller

Well, hell, if it had to be somethin' that Ada hadn't already known, that meant lock-picking, sewing, and babies were right out. An' she didn't think he'd buy that she didn't know how to hotwire or jump-start a car, or change a tire. No fair.

Edward Kenway

This was a challenge that actually piqued Edward's interest. He took his map and his coordinates, and he got to work. It took longer than he was proud of, but he found a cache before the end of the class.

He spent the rest of it beaming.

Eventually Ada went with the glass blowing. It was pretty, soothing, and, unlikely to end with her bruised and landing on her ass like self-defense or laser swords.

Mara Jade

Mara was going for the easy A...and the laser swords.

She fought off an enemy with perhaps a bit too much ease, with the grace of a dancer and enough faked missteps to look like a Regular Teenager.

Kinda.
