It stretched out over a large part of this continent. Many other nations were formed after it fell, some functioning... better than others."

They would not by taking you to Belarus any time soon, kids.

"Azerbaijan is one of the success stories," Anakin said, nodding. "They've even won Eurovision, whatever that is."

"It's a singing competition," Obi-Wan said immediately.

Then he coughed.

Anakin smirked. "Right. The first one back can ask Master Kenobi why he knew that so quickly."

"Let us not," Obi-Wan said. "Proceed."

Her fingers, on the other hand, were already itching, and not because she saw a neglected wallet.

"No," Obi-Wan said.

He had no idea what she was about to do, but no.

Eurovision, crude oil, Ladas... there's just so much to grill them about.

Obi-Wan had only accidentally stumbled into Eurovision once. He swore.

"Eurovision, Master?" Anakin teased.

"It happened to be on the holo-- television," Obi-Wan said. "The once."

"But you watched it," Anakin said gleefully.

"... Yes," Obi-Wan said, after a long pause.

"What was it about?" Anakin asked.

"It is a yearly singing competition where various nations compete to see which one can produce the strangest musical act," Obi-Wan said. A pause. "And apparently, who can pass the cattiest commentary."

"I can see both the appeal and why you wouldn't want people to know you watch," Anakin said.

"I came upon it briefly," Obi-Wan said firmly. "That was all."

He had watched the entire thing and frequently outcatted the commentators.

Anakin snorted. "And when does it come on again?"

Anakin was not getting a crude oil bath. Eww.
