Lost. What a surprise.

The first thing Kawalsky was aware of that he was staring at an unfamiliar ceiling. Frowning, he stared for a few more moments. That definitely wasn't a ceiling he knew of. He gathered his senses, but still felt heavy-headed as he hauled himself into a sitting position.

"What the hell?" he muttered and looked around. The lighting was low, but he could distinctly see something that he never expected to see again outside of a museum. It was a rack, one of those medieval torture devices, and it looked like it had been used recently.

The last thing he remembered was someone calling his name, and then being shoved from behind. Then he woke up here.

Either this was another part of the school he hadn't seen yet, was a *very* strange student's quarters or he'd ended up in another dimension. Any of the options was possible, but he really hoped it wasn't the latter. Any transportation that didn't involve wheels or engines, and that included interdimensional travel and the Stargate was a real pain in the neck.

"Uh," Kawalsky said, scrambling to his feet. "Is anyone there?" It was a stupid thing to ask, but he wasn't thinking straight.
